Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect with expertise in Magento to join our team. As a Solution Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, robust, and high-performance Magento solutions to meet our clients’ business requirements. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of Ecommerce (Magento) projects. The ideal candidate has a strong background in e-commerce solutions, Magento development, and system integration.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with clients, business stakeholders, and project teams to understand their requirements and translate them into technical specifications and Magento-based solutions.
  • Design and architect scalable, high-performance, and reliable Magento e-commerce solutions that align with clients business objectives.
  • Lead the technical implementation of Magento projects, ensuring adherence to best practices, coding standards, and project timelines.
  • Perform code reviews and provide guidance and mentorship to development teams to ensure code quality, maintainability, and scalability.
  • Conduct architectural assessments, identify potential risks, and propose mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Collaborate with third-party vendors and system integrators to integrate Magento with external systems, such as payment gateways, ERP systems, and CRM systems.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in the Magento e-commerce space and provide recommendations for process improvements and technical enhancements.
  • Assist in pre-sales activities by providing technical expertise, participating in client meetings, and contributing to the development of proposals and estimates.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on Magento and provide guidance and support to clients and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, system designs, and implementation guides.

  • Experienced in developing web-based collaboration applications, Payment Gateway Integration, content management, search and integrated solutions using Magento E-commerce framework.
  • Experience in Project Coordination involving Stake Holder Interaction; solutions engineering, deployment, managed service vendors, Project Planning, Estimation, Monitoring & Progress Reporting.
  • Experience of eCommerce – PimCore (powerful multi-channel), Magento (Enterprise), Magento 2.0 Architecture, Magento Commerce Cloud, GraphQL etc.

Experience and candidate profile

  • B.Tech/M.Tech/MCS degree in Computer Science
  • 8+ years’ experience in Magento specific role.
  • 3-4 years in the role of a Solution architect / Technical Architect.
  • Excellent at gathering and assimilating information.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence clients and team members
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze & solve problem independently
  • Strong analytical, prioritization and collaboration skills in partnering with other internal groups
  • Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with team members and clients.
